Under the Advocacy Council, the Gender Equity Initiative in Global Surgery promotes discussions on related topics on multiple platforms. In addition to our event planning, the Advocacy Council also organizes Twitter Chats to discuss topical and specific questions related to gender equity in the surgery, anesthesia, and obstetrics fields.
